Even though Super Duper is a chain restaurant I think it's very important in the Berkeley community. It's only one block away from Sproul Hall so it's very convenient. I would go order from there and do takeout to my dorm as a freshman. I do see that because it is very close I always see it as a "I can go there anytime" and would never end up going there. I really enjoy eating the Spicy Bird with the garlic fries. If I feel like it I would also get the Milkshake as well.

La Burrita is one of Berkeley's classical places to eat. After a night out Frat Partying many people go here for a delicious burrito or taco. Personally I don't really like burritos but I do enjoy their Quesabirria and their California Taco. I personally like this restaurant more than the other Taco Place across the street in Asian Ghetto.

Artichoke's Pizza price might be scary but the size and taste is definitely worth the big buck! Like La Burrita, Artichoke is another staple food place for late night foodies. I really enjoy their Margherita Pizza and their specialty Artichoke Pizza. I like to combo these together because the Artichoke does have a greasy feeling after a few bites which is when you take a few bites of the Margherita pizza. The Artichoke has a very creamy texture not made out of the regular tomato sauce. The Margherita pizza is the classic pizza with a hint of basil which further elevates the taste. I always add pepper flakes, cheese, tabasco, and the most important: this green stuff. I'm not sure what it is but it's great.

Top Dog is another great staple food for Berkeley late nighters. Although the lines do get long, the grill is always on and you should get your hot dog in 15 minutes even when it's busy. There are over 10 different types of sausages and each one has an individual flavor. I personally enjoy the hot link as I enjoy spicy food. They have all the condiments such as ketchup, mustard, relish, and minced white onions. You can only use a card if the purchase is over 5 dollars so you have to buy at least 2 which is perfect as I personally believe one is too little.
